The Grandma of Chi Kan West House is well over 80. To her, most food is difficult to chew, hard to digest, or she’s not hungry at all. To stimulate Grandma’sappetite, the couple came up with the Fu Lu Shou Pineapple Shortcake that Grandma loves to eat because it is "thin on crust and thick on filling" and easy for her to chew. The main ingredient of Fu Lu Shou Pineapple Shortcakes is local Taiwan pineapples. The crust is made of French flour, unique for its soft texture. It is not only delicious but also easy to digest. Pineapple Shortcake is the best after-dinner dessert that three generations of a family can enjoy.
We treat each of our restaurant guests to the painstakingly developed vegetarian cuisine of our Chikan Royal Seal Restaurant chefs with the same filial piety and care that we offer our Grandma. We insist that "If it isn’t good enough for Grandma it isn’t good enough for our guests!" You need not worry about the quality of our ingredients because we are very selective. Every bite of our Pineapple Shortcake you take tastes like gold.
